The lodge is in a peaceful secluded location, perfect for a relaxing get-away. The area is full of interesting things to see and do, walks, excellent pubs and restaurants. An all round enjoyable holiday.

What a fantastic holiday we had, took an autistic lady on this holiday, an ideal place for her to chill and relax with plenty of space. Had our own private hot tub with nobody overlooking it. Beautiful views, wonderful friendly people in the surrounding villages and the owner that greeted us was fantastic. Will definitely be returning with my own family.

Delightfully reclusive log cabin with excellent views over the Wye Valley. Superb walks in the surrounding area, suitable for able adults and children. Hot tub heated to a lovely hot temperature on demand and an owner who was very happy to provide towing services at our request during what was most snowy week on record for years. If you don't have a 4x4 and the roads are snowy and iced up, either shop generously or make sure you have a suitable vehicle. This is only in the case of heavy snow. Overall a wonderful, relaxing holiday over Christmas for our family of four (of which two were boys aged 7 and 9). The owner included chocolates and beautiful Christmas decorations. We would definitely want to return at some stage.

Cider Mill Lodge was absolutely gorgeous, one of the best holidays we have ever had. A beautiful location, perfectly peaceful with stunning scenery. Loads to do and see around the area with lots of wonderful places to eat out. We truly didn't want to come home.

For a quiet, secluded and beautiful retreat this is the perfect location, hot tub looking out to the Wye valley was a great experience. Beautiful location, great facilities.

Amazing place in a stunning setting! The owners were extremely helpful and obliging and even left us with a bottle of wine to help us enjoy our stay. The cottage was equipped with everything we could need and chilling out in the hot tub at the end of the day surrounded only by fields was perfect. There is a very friendly pub a short but strenous walk away with great pub grub and locally produced cider.

We can't recommend Cider Mill highly enough. We have a one year old daughter who had a great time, and when she napped or went to bed we went straight in the hot tub, it beats watching TV in the evenings! We hope to be back again soon!

The day we arrived we were unable to get our 2 cars up the hill to the lodge due to the snow, the owner came out and towed us both up hills and over fields. A couple of days later we had to abandon our car about 1 1/2 miles away, the owner came out to pick us up.

If you are looking for a chill out or a peaceful holiday then this is the place, the views are stunning the hot tub was fab. This was our third visit to Cider Mill and once again we were not disappointed!! Fantastic accommodation, everything you could need and more is made available and the hot tub is wonderful - especially at night. If you want a truly relaxing holiday, in comfort and luxury, this is the one, we will be going back next year!

Beautiful lodge with fantastic views, can't imagine anyone coming here and not wanting to come back. Totally relaxing and although lots of walks for the dogs if you wanted, you could tire them out in the lodges grounds. The hot tub was just the icing on the cake. Best holiday ever!

The location was a dream 'a little piece of heaven'. The views were spectacular of rolling hillside and the Wye Valley. Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, a birthday holiday that will be remembered forever. The lodge had everything, the hot tub was fantastic and I could not fault a thing. Ted our friendly neighbour informed us so well of the area and the lanlady and landlord of the Brockweir Country Inn were superb, and again so warm and friendly.

I would thoroughly recommend this holiday, but not to too many people or we may not get in next time! The location is fantastic if you like walking, and a relaxing holiday - completely isolated with cows for company! A dogs heaven!
